How do I choose my size?
Attention
Before choosing your size, consult the measurement chart that each item has. If you don't have a measurement chart, please send us an email to contact@leathercheap.store, so we can help you choose your size correctly.
HOW TO TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS
Your satisfaction is our priority, which is why we've created this guide to ensure our clothing fits you perfectly, thus avoiding possible alterations later.
-
Before taking measurements for a garment, you should lay it on a flat surface such as a table or bed. If the garment is not fully laid out, the measurements taken may be incorrect.
-
Use the appropriate tape measure: it should be a cloth or plastic tape like those used by tailors and dressmakers.
-
Take note of your measurements so you have them handy, avoiding the need to remeasure.
SLEEVE LENGTH
The best way to measure sleeve length is to lay the garment flat on a flat surface and then measure the entire sleeve length, as shown in the image. Measure the distance between the seam where it meets the shoulder and the desired position of the cuff. This measurement should be taken in a straight line. The most common mistake made when measuring sleeve length is:
- Measure while the garment is hanging rather than lying flat on a surface.
SHOULDER WIDTH
The best way to measure shoulder width is to lay the garment flat on a flat surface and measure the distance across the shoulders as shown in the image. The measurement should be taken between the shoulder seams. The most common mistakes made when measuring shoulder width are:
- Measure shoulder width while the garment is hanging rather than lying flat.
- Measure the shoulder width without fully extending the garment.
CHEST WIDTH
The best way to measure chest width is to lay the garment flat on a flat surface and measure the chest width as shown in the image. This measurement should be taken between the side seams of the garment. The most common mistakes when measuring chest width are:
- Measure the chest width while the garment is hanging rather than lying flat.
- Measure the chest width without fully extending the garment.
WAIST MEASUREMENT
The best way to take your waist measurement is to lay the garment flat on a surface and measure it as shown in the image. The natural waist is where this part of the body is narrowest, usually an inch or two above the belly button. The most common mistakes made when taking waist measurements are:
- Measure the waist while the garment is hanging rather than lying flat.
- Measure the waist without extending the garment completely.
